Because of the field-proven spring-loaded design of the 6-1/2" Cable Tensioner & Guide with Bracket from B/A Products Co., you can effectively provide constant tension on the winch cable. This removes a slack cable condition while improving the winding of the cable on the drum. The attached bracket is designed to bolt directly onto Jerr-Dan Trucks and is used on rear mount winches with 6" to 7" drums. The tensioner's rollers are made from high carbon steel with bronze bushings for long service life, and the vertical rollers are designed to help prevent the cable from rubbing the sides of the drum.
