What began in a Florida storefront in 1978 started out as a simple idea; to build safe, quality products. As demand and customer requests grew, a 1984 move to Maryland brought more space and a more centralized location, allowing better transit times to the growing list of nationwide distributors. In 1997, B/A designed and patented the popular 8-Point Tie-Down, which went on to become a standard for the Towing Industry. In June of 2017, B/A was acquired by The Heico Companies, making it possible to build even further upon a legacy of quality and safety for the automotive industries. Today, B/A continues to offer innovative products to the industry while offering the highest standards of safety, quality, and service.

This process determines the quality of the product you will be using and it goes without saying that the quality of the product you are using will determine your level of safety or risk in the field.
