Fire Rescue Shackles

B/A Products Co.’s Shackles are engineered to give support for numerous different applications, which include towing, rigging, and securement. Shackles can be used to connect a variety of assemblies, like chains, lifting slings, wire ropes, to one another or to another object. The Screw Pin Anchor Shackles feature a threaded pin for fast and easy connections and disconnections for temporary attachments. We offer Alloy Screw Pin Anchor Shackles and Carbon Screw Pin Anchor Shackles as well as our patented Twist Lock Shackles. Our carbon screw pin shackles feature a Design Factor of 6:1 and are noticeably more ductile than alloy. Our alloy screw pin shackles provide a Design Factor of 5:1 and have more strength than carbon steel.

Twist Lock Shackles

Our patented Twist Lock Shackles are available here, and they offer innovative solutions for your chain assemblies. They are manufactured from a tough alloy steel with a sturdy alloy pin. Our shackles are designed for speedy locking and unlocking action so that you spend less time in the “danger zone.”

You do not need any tools to operate these shackles, so this makes them faster and easier to use and take off, which can make all the difference in the world when in an emergency time crunch. The pin can retract completely without coming loose. This makes for plenty of room when installing and removing a shackle from a spot. The open cross pin then becomes a stable handle.

Because the pin is attached permanently to the shackle, you don’t need to be concerned about having to constantly replace a lost pin. Plus, the shackles are proof tested to two times the working load limit.

Each shackle has a batch code that links to a test certificate as well as quality traceability. The size as well as the working load limit are shown permanently on every shackle for further safety.
