With the reliable strength of these high-quality Gear Heads, you can easily acquire the right amount of tension on the vehicle in order to keep it fully secured for transport. They work flawlessly with either a web tie-down strap or a chain tie-down assembly to maintain a secure grip on the vehicle. These Left and Right Gear Heads are available in both 1.33” and 1.5” sizes. Our pawls and pins are available to help prevent the gear head from releasing after it has been tightened down. This adds greater security to the overall vehicle tie-down job. Our Left and Right Quick Release Pawls are used for speeding up the unloading process so that you can get it done faster. We also have a heavy-duty Weldable Ratchet Hook, which is designed to easily weld right onto the trailer and attaches to any of our 1/4" or 5/16” chain assemblies, as well as our Chain Idler, which is designed to help achieve the appropriate angle of the chain assembly when securing the vehicle. We also have solid and durable Winch Bars available for help operating the gear heads until they reach the right amount of tension. Available in a variety of sizes, the 28” Winch Bar is used for strap truck applications, the 28” and 34” Winch Bars are used on 1/4" Grade 70 Transport Chains, and the 38.5” Winch Bar is used on 5/16” Grade 70 Transport Chains.
