Heavy-Duty Chain Kit

The Heavy-Duty Chain Kit comes complete with nearly everything needed to ensure that the vehicle is fully stabilized for transport. It provides you with a number of differently sized chain assemblies that are designed to hold down the vehicle with a secure grip, increasing the security and safety of the job. The chains are easy to use and have the strength to take on the heavy-duty jobs with increased ease and efficiency.

This high-quality kit includes the following heavy-duty chain assemblies:

• Two 1/2” by 10’ Grade 100 Non-Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 15,000 lbs.)
• Two 1/2" by 20' Grade 100 Non-Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 15,000 lbs.)
• Two 3/8" by 10' Grade 80 Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 7,100 lbs.)
• Two 3/8" by 20' Grade 80 Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 7,100 lbs.)
• Two 5/16" by 10' Grade 80 Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 5,350 lbs.)
• Two 5/16" by 20' Grade 80 Cradle Grab Hook Chains (WLL: 5,350 lbs.)
• Two 5/16" - 3/8" Ratchet Load Binders (WLL: 8,800 lbs.)

This is a complete kit that includes nearly everything needed to obtain maximum security over the vehicle. Each chain assembly is engineered from high-quality Grade 100 steel, which is tough enough to withstand the constant demands of the industry, providing optimal resistance to crushing and corrosion. The Grade 80 steel is also an excellent choice for its high-quality strength. This chain grade is approved for overhead lifting applications as well. With working load limits that range from 4,500 lbs. to 15,000 lbs., you will be able to take on a number of heavy-duty jobs that require our level of industrial strength and unchallenged grip. 

The chains are equipped with either a Cradle Grab Hook or a Non-Cradle Grab Hook. Both types of end fittings are designed to provide you with a solid grip on the anchoring point. Their deep throats can slide right into the attachment point, establishing a reliable connection that supports the rest of the assembly. They are incredibly easy to use and durable enough to take on the tougher jobs.

The kit also comes with a pair of high-quality Ratchet Load Binders. These load binders are designed to make the entire tensioning process smooth and straightforward. Although slower than a lever binder, the ratchet binder allows you to incrementally apply tension to the chain, making the process a lot steadier and easier on your back and shoulder muscles. The handle also does not store a lot of kinetic energy, so there’s less of a risk of kickback.
