Its field-proven spring-loaded design provides constant tension on the winch cable, which eliminates a slack cable condition. It also improves the winding of the cable on the drum. Made for use on 1/4" and 1/2" wire rope, this cable tensioner allows you to maintain a tight cable condition easily. The rollers are manufactured from high carbon steel with bronze bushings for a longer service life. The vertical rollers are designed to prevent the cable from constantly rubbing against the sides of the drum.
