The Grade 100 Shortening Clutch from B/A Products Co. is a device that allows your fleet to shorten a length of chain when required. Forged from 100 grade alloy steel and available in 3/8” and ½" sizes, the Grade 100 Shortening Clutch is engineered to attach directly to a length of chain through the engineered clevis head. Additionally, the Shortening Clutch features a built-in latch that does not let the chain become disengaged from the chain pocket when it is not under load. The 3/8 Inch Grade 100 Shortening Clutch has a working load limit of 8,800 lbs, while the ½" Grade 100 Shortening Clutch has a Working Load Limit of 15,000 lbs.

B/A Products Co. sole liability and customer remedy is limited to the replacement of any products determined by B/A Products Co. to be defective in quality; providing that claims for any defects are made within the warranty period. The warranty provisions contained in this statement are expressly in lieu of all other warranties; express, statutory or implied in fact or by law. There are no implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose made in connection with the sale of products. The warranty provisions shall not apply to defects resulting from improper or unspecified uses or applications. B/A Products Co. shall not be liable for loss of profits loss of use, damages or injury to persons, or any other consequential damages of any kind, nor shall B/A Products Co. be liable for any costs of replacement incurred by customer in the absence of specific written authorization from B/A Products Co. to make such a replacement.
